Three institutions within the State of Vermont maintain accredited social work programs.

The NASW-VT Gilman Scholarship

The NASW-VT Gilman Scholarship was established in 2002 to honor former Executive Director Michael Gilman. Each year the Chapter contributes $1000 to provide two $500 scholarships to individuals enrolled in accredited social work programs. The Gilman Scholarship is administered by the Vermont Scholarship Fund, a 501©(3) affiliate of the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC).
