Executive Director - Eilis O'Herlihy, MSW

Before moving to Vermont, Eilis (pronounced “A-lish”) served as director of the Student Assault Resource Center and as a psychotherapist at the University of Montana. She has a background and strong interest in trauma-focused therapy. Her experience is diverse: She’s worked with incarcerated women in California and African refugees in Ireland, been a case manager, family advocate and teacher/lecturer, and owned a small business. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of California – Santa Cruz and her MSW at the University of Montana. Eilis lives on a beef cattle farm with her husband and son.

Chapter Coordinator - Hollis Dale

Hollis comes to NASW-VT with years of experience doing administrative and operational support for non profit organizations and businesses such as the Barre Community Justice Center and the Vermont Workers Center.  He has a BA in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and a Masters in Anthropology from the California Institute of Integral Studies.  He has been involved in community organizing, media making, and academic projects related to queer and transgender social movements, incarceration, and immigration.  Hollis recently moved to a goat, sheep, and miniature horse farm in Northfield.
