Melinda J. Rouille, MSW, LICSW

Melinda received her Associates in Applied Science from Kentucky College of Business in Florence, KY in 1990. She received her Bachelors of Social Work from the University of Vermont in 2008 and her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Vermont in 2011. Melinda joined the Vet Center staff in South Burlington in 2011 where she assists combat veterans and their families with various services. Melinda is a veteran herself, with two sons and a daughter that grew up on various military bases. Later, her two sons served in both Iraq and Afghanistan on multiple tours, spurring her to choose her current career. Her interests include family, group and individual psychotherapy, and her areas of focus are bereavement, trauma and drug and alcohol counseling. Prior to joining the Vet Center, she worked at the University of Vermont’s Human Behavioral Pharmacology Lab in Drug Abuse Research for 10 years.
